To do this, just hold onto your veggies and put them on top of that design while it’s turned upside down.

3) With this done, take your spiralizer and attach it firmly to one end of the zucchini so that you can push the vegetable through as if it were spaghetti. If you are not sure whether or not your machine is attached correctly, use thin spaghetti squash as an example.

Note: Sometimes zucchini can be tough in the center and you may need to use a knife to cut through it, but just be careful!

Shredding Food with a Processor: How to Shred?

– Place these small pieces on top of a piece of wax paper or even parchment paper for more easy clean-up late.
– Once you have enough shredded food (about one cup), pour it out onto the center of the sheet and use two hands to gently squeeze each side together in order to form long strands.
– Push around any large chunks that don’t want to shred with either hand, but if those larger pieces remain intact then remove them from your bowl before continuing.
– Repeat this step until all your ingredients are fully shredded!
– Once you’re done, use your hands or a knife to chop up any large pieces of food that remain. If desired, place the shredded ingredients back into the processor for an additional whirl!

Note: If you have larger chunks in your bowl then it might be best not to break them down too much before starting to shred if they are soft and pulpy like bananas or berries since these will get mushy when broken down too much.

Method 1: Make Sautéed Zucchini

  1. Finely chop the garlic clove. Use a cutting board and a kitchen knife.
  2. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the garlic and chili powder and cook for about 30 seconds, stirring occasionally. Remove the garlic (optional).
  3. Add the zucchini slices to the skillet. Stir the courgettes with a wooden spoon until they are coated in oil.
  4. Wait until each side is browned then flip and cook for another minute. Remove the pan from the heat and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Transfer to a platter and serve immediately. Sprinkle with parmesan if desired.

Method 2: Prepare Zucchini Fries

  1. Preheat the oven to 220°C.
  2. Cut the zucchini into sticks. They should be about 7cm long and 1cm wide, like normal fries.
  3. Whisk eggs and milk in a small bowl. In another, mix the cheese and breadcrumbs.
  4. Butter a baking sheet. Instead, you can also cover it with aluminum foil so that the zucchini doesn’t stick.
  5. Dip each zucchini stick in the egg mixture and then in the breadcrumb mixture. Place the sticks on the baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes. Zucchini fries should be golden when done.
  7. Remove from the oven and enjoy!

Method 3: Make Zucchini Bread

  1. Preheat the oven to 160°C. Butter and flour two 10 x 20 cm cake tins.
  2. Use a cheese grater to grate the zucchini. These do not need to be peeled.
  3. Combine flour, salt, baking soda, baking powder, and cinnamon in a large bowl.
  4. Beat the eggs, oil, vanilla, and sugar in a separate bowl.
  5. Add the egg mixture to the flour mixture.
  6. Stir in zucchini and walnuts. Pour the batter into the molds.
  7. Bake for 40-60 minutes. Pierce the loaves with a fork to determine if they are done, the fork should come out clean.
  8. Take out of the oven. Let sit for about 20 minutes then remove the loaves from their molds.
  9. Serve and enjoy!
